Buyer’s Premium

When buying an item at auction, a buyer’s premium is added to all purchases.  The premium can vary depending on how bid and how you pay.  When bidding directly with King Galleries by phone or absentee, the buyer’s premium is 18% for credit card payment and 15% for payment by cash or check.  For King Galleries own website bidding platform, the buyer’s premium is 20%, regardless of payment method.  Online bidding through one of the 3rd party bidding platforms: Invaluable and Live Auctioneers, the buyer’s premium is 23% regardless of payment method.
